Emergency personnel responded to a house fire located between Griswold and Elliott Thursday afternoon, which cause extensive damage to the house.
Griswold Fire officials said Griswold Fire, Griswold Rescue, Elliott Fire, Red Oak Fire, Red Oak Rescue, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Cass County Emergency Management Agency, and Montgomery County Emergency Management all responded to the call with Griswold Fire officials getting on the scene first at 56171 Yankton Road. The call came in about 12:40 p.m.
