Officials have identified the woman who was killed in an Algona house fire early Tuesday morning. Jessica Lierley Southard, of Des Moines, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the Kossuth County Sheriff's Department. Karen Lierley, of Algona, was injured. Her condition wasn't immediately available Wednesday. The other occupant of the house was Patrice Lierley, of Des Moines. The Algona Fire Department received a 911 call at 2:33 a.m. Tuesday reporting a house fire at 211 Brookridge.
