A rural Des Moines County man was trapped for more than two hours in a grain bin north of Kingston Thursday afternoon, but escaped serious injury after emergency crews freed him. Kenneth Klenk, 78, was helping load a semi-tractor trailer with corn shortly before noon at his farm at 225th Street and Des Moines County 99 when he began to slip underneath several thousand bushels of corn stored inside the grain bin.
