Central Ave. No one was hurt, but flames damaged a nearby hanging Mediacom cable causing outages in the area. Eight Burlington firefighters received a fire call at 12:20 a.m. and arrived on scene four minutes later. Upon arrival, battalion chief Jeff McGhee raised an extra alarm that brought three off-duty firefighters to the scene as well as the fire marshal.
