VIDEO: An 8 year old boy out of Newton is being considered a by his parents tonight after running to the fire department to report his house on fire. His home is on South 8th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208. On Friday May 19, 2017 Quintin Daniels had just gotten home from school. Normally his parent are home but this time they were out running errands. When he saw the fire he ran almost half a mile to the fire station to get help. The fire Marshall said Quintin walked up to the front door like he usually does when he gets home from school but this time when he opened it he saw the door engulfed in smoke.
