VIDEO: One of the largest fires in California is the Atlas Fire near Napa County. More than 25,000 acres have been burned and around 125 structures have been destroyed. Aaron Hepker, a Cedar Rapids native and former TV9 employee, currently works in Sacramento. He said the fires started up Sunday evening and were minor at first. "When I went to bed Sunday night around 1 a.m., things weren’t too bad. By the time I woke up at 6 a.m. Monday, things were drastically different," Hepker said. Hepker said the fires are affecting wine country and wineries have closed down.
