Firefighters are battling a house fire in Dubuque this morning. Flames could be seen from a second story window along the 1000 block of Rhomberg Avenue. Dubuque's Fire Chief says crews are tearing down second floor walls of a Dubuque home to get to the fire in the attic porch. Rick Steines says they believe the fire started there just after 6:30 this morning. Crews arrived just a couple of minutes after the call was made. He says someone inside made the call, saying they saw smoke on the second floor. He doesn't know how many, but Steines said everyone inside the home got out safely, and no injuries have been reported. They don't know the cause of the fire. The Farley Fire Department also assisted with the fire.
