VIDEO: Many rural fire departments in Iowa have trouble getting money for much-needed improvements around the station, but the Garrison Fire Department is doing something a little different to help raise money for their fire station. They throw a haunted attraction each year known as Garrison's Haunted. It's their biggest fundraiser of the year and it takes place right through the doors of a scary warehouse. All the money raised goes back to helping purchase new equipment for the fire department. Last year Garrison's Fire Department was able to raise over $10,000 and this year they're hoping to raise a lot more to help pay for new equipment and improvements to their fire department.
