Sioux City man set to take plea following January police stand-off

VIDEO: The Sioux City man charged with breaking into and setting fire to his mom's house during a standoff with Police on the west side in January of this year, leading to a standoff, is expected to take a plea deal. A hearing has been set for Friday afternoon for Michael Counterman. He's charged with aggravated domestic assault, 2nd degree burglary and 2nd degree arson in the case. No word on what may be pleading guilty to or how long a sentence he faces.
