First responders are at the scene of a fire reported at a home converted to apartments in northwestern Mason City. Firefighters and police were called to a blue two-story structure in the 100 block of Third Street Northwest about 11:20 a.m. Wednesday. Light smoke was seen coming from the home when first responders arrived, according to a Globe Gazette reporter at the scene. Mason City Fire Department and Mason City Police Department were at the scene. No other information was available Wednesday afternoon.
