A woman and children were rescued by Des Moines police early this morning after officers say a man poured gas inside a house and set it on fire. That 911 police dispatch call around 1:00 this morning, in the 700 block of 35th Street. Police say fire was spreading through the 2nd level of the house when they arrested Antonio Starks and officers cleared everyone out of the house. Firefighters arrived to put out the fire.
