Ashlee Clarke didn't know she was pregnant. That was until the 22-year-old mother of two woke up May 15. Having her third child was everything but ordinary. In the early morning hours of May 15, Clarke felt contractions. She didn't know what was going on; blood and urine tests showed negative results for pregnancy. She couldn't be pregnant, so she thought, because she never felt sick enough to question it or notice any changes. From 7 to 10:40 a.m., she let the pain continue. That was until she was sitting on the toilet and the baby came out. "I was in shock," was the most Clarke could describe Savannah's birth. The baby girl is currently in the NICU at University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
