Cedar Bridge arsonist found injured from gunshot wound has died

VIDEO: One of the suspects in the Madison County Bridge Arson case found in Norwalk suffering a gunshot wound has died. O'Leary Funeral Services in Norwalk issued an obituary forJoel Nathan Davis, age 19, of Norwalk. His obituary states that he passed away Tuesday evening at Unity Point - Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. The Madison County Sheriff's office confirms to KCCI that Joel Davis was found last Thursday in a vehicle off Cumming Road. The Sheriff's office says it's unclear what happened to Davis. Last year, Davis plead guilty to second-degree arson for his role in burning the Cedar Bridge back in April of 2017.
