VIDEO: No one was hurt in the fire luckily, but the extreme cold caused some difficulties for fire crews. As the fire was being handled by fire crews, DART stepped in to help those evacuated from the building. A fire broke out at East McKinley apartment complex late on Sunday night. Firefighters were among the very first people to get here, but another group that played a pivotal role was DART. "It was incredibly cold last night," said Erin Hockman, DART marketing and communications director. "So being able to have a heated bus there to help residents keep warm while everything was being taken care of, certainly helps provide some relief in that situation." Firefighters face a tall task just getting to fires this time of year.
