Local firefighters rescued a man who jumped into a swollen Boise River over the weekend. Eagle Firefighters say early Sunday a "young man decided to jump in the water to swim around. That nearly cost him his life." Crews from Boise Fire, Star Fire and Ada County Paramedics and the Ada County Sheriff's Office all responded. It's unclear whether the man who jumped in suffered any injuries.
