Twin Falls County Fire and Police Deparments recieve new Incident Command System Boards

Thanks to a State Homeland Security grant program (SHSP), the Twin Falls County Emergency Services Office was able to obtained new portable Incident Command Support boards for police and fire departments within Twin Falls County. The tool will improve life safety during events such as floods, coordinate response and support the rural areas such as Castle Rock and Buhl fire. “Its visual display board that you open, you can write and you can put notes on it, you can do any kind of documentation," said Twin Falls County Emergency Coordinator Jackie Frey. Frey said the tool is used when first responders arrive to the scene “They can write down what the incidents is, the players that are there, and they can write phone numbers,” Frey said.
