The Twin Falls Fire Department saved a cat from a tree Wednesday morning after the owner said it's been stuck up there for three nights.
The owner of the cat said they made several attempts to try and rescue the cat named Sisi.
Lynzee Buck said they attempted to use a ladder themselves, but it was not tall enough to reach the cat. They also tried luring her down with food, pushing her out of the tree with a stick and spraying her with a hose.
However, they had no luck, and were worried she might be dehydrated from being stuck up there for so long.
Buck said in a Facebook post they called the Twin Falls Fire Department at 9 a.m. and the cat was safely back in the arms of her owner an hour later.
She sad she is grateful for their help.
Fire Chief Les Kenworthy said they fire department's only rescued cats from trees a handful of times a year. They take each situation on a case-by-case basis.
