An early morning fire broke out inside a Twin Falls garage destroyed several vehicles.
Firefighters from the Twin Falls and Rock Creek fire departments responded to the scene along Shoup Avenue West a little after midnight Tuesday morning. No injuries were reported and fire officials said the fire caused at least $70,000 worth of damage.
KMVT spoke to a resident in the area who said he immediately notified his neighbors when he saw flames from his window.
“So I ran over here and tried to wake them up and they couldn't really hear me so we had to go in the front, started getting all the kids out and everything, and then worried about the person that live here and then the fire department showed up and they did a really good job,” said neighbor Jonathan Stanitz.
Fire officials say the structures received lots of radiated heat damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
