A popular restaurant in the city's Pilsen neighborhood was destroyed Tuesday afternoon in a fire. Chicago firefighters battled the fire at Carnitas La Michoacana, 2049 W. Cermak Road, on the Southwest Side. Flames poured from the back of the building before the roof collapsed. Several workers were treated for smoke inhalation, and two were taken to a hospital.
