Taylorville firefighters were called to the 2100 block of Grand Boulevard in Taylorville at about 2:30 Thursday morning for a fire in an apartment complex. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Taylorville Fire Chief Mike Crews says two apartments were destroyed in the blaze. Four people were displaced. One of those people was taken to the hospital for injuries suffered in the fire. Crews did not know what type of injuries or how severe they were.
