Chicago firefighters were responding to an extra-alarm fire at a church Tuesday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. The fire started around 8:20 a.m. at Salvation and Deliverance Ministries International at 1540 N. Spaulding Av. No injuries had been reported as of 9 a.m., but the fire has been elevated to a 2-11 alarm, which typically sends about 100 firefighters to the scene.
