Jeremy Good was appointed to the position of Firefighter Lieutenant Monday evening, bringing with him a long list of credentials including licensed paramedic, trained rescue diver, trench rescue technician, hazardous materials technician, and certified fire officer.
Good joined the Rochelle Fire Dept. full time in May of 2006 after paid on call and as a volunteer for the Flagg Center Fire Dept. His father, Orville Good, Flagg Center Fire Chief officially pinned Good during the swearing in ceremony with Sue Messer, City Clerk.
Rochelle Fire Chief Dave Sawlsville officially welcomed Good to the position, crediting him with being a large contributor behind the scenes at the Fourth of July fireworks display last week.
