The Illinois State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that has claimed the life of a Brighton woman. Fire officials were called to the scene at around 3 p.m. at the 200 block of Cindy Street Sunday. When crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed. An autopsy will be performed Monday to determine the cause of death. The victim's name is being withheld till notification of next of kin.
