No injuries were reported following a Sunday morning house fire on Hayes Street. Hopkinsville Fire Department PIO Lt. Michael Pendleton says firefighters responded to 940 Hayes Streeet shortly after midnight. When firefighters arrived, they saw light smoke coming from eaves of the home. The resident of the home was outside and said no one else was inside the house. Firefighters from stations one, two and three were able to quickly respond and put out the fire. There was moderate smoke and water damage to the home, which caused the resident to be displaced.
