A Whitley County home was destroyed Wednesday afternoon after a fire broke out at a Joe Young Road residence off KY-90. Firefighters with Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department and Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department worked to contain the blaze, but the house was mostly gutted from the fire. An arson investigator was later requested to survey the scene.
