Fire officials said early Saturday afternoon that all lanes on Winchester Road have been reopened following a gas leak caused by a worker's error. Officials said a worker with Kentucky American Water was digging when he hit a gas line, creating a leak just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Firefighters shut down Winchester Road from Interstate Highway 75 to Polo Club Boulevard for hours as crews work to stop the leak.
