A community is rallying around a family that lost most of what they had in a house fire. The Flatwoods Fire Department is doubling as a donations center. People have been dropping off clothes for Bryan Tackett's family after their house on Richards Drive in Raceland caught fire Wednesday afternoon. Tackett serves on the Flatwoods Police Department and is the school resource officer at Russell. "To see what he does at the schools with everybody else's kids, to know that his are hurting, it's painful," Detective Chris Castle said.
