Union County fire crews responded to a house fire near Morganfield. According to dispatch, the call came in a little after 10 a.m. Friday morning from the 1800 block of Kentucky 359. Authorities say no one was hurt and all pets made it out of the home okay, but the home is a total loss. The woman who lived at the home told firefighters she had been gone for about 10 minutes. Firefighters say flames were coming out of the attic and the side of the house where a lot of appliances were located, along with an electrical box.
