A firefighter was injured and crews spent hours battling a blaze Saturday afternoon in Estill County. Reportedly a homeowner came home to smoke in their garage and called 911 around 4:45 p.m. Estill County Fire officials say firefighters responded and quickly went inside to attack the flames, but the first floor collapsed while they were inside. Reportedly one firefighter fell through the floor and was injured. The person was transported to the hospital but is expected to be OK.
