A man is behind bars after he allegedly tried to break into a local fire department.
It happened around 5:21 p.m. Saturday at the Lily Fire Department.
The fire chief called dispatch to report the incident.
When deputies arrived at the scene, 33-year-old Marlow Baker attempted to flee on foot, tossing an air soft pistol into the weeds near a creek.
Deputies were able to capture Baker who attempted to flee again and scuffled with deputies, but was taken into custody.
Baker was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree fleeing or evading police, and resisting arrest.
