Kentucky State Police are investigating a weather-related crash in Falmouth that involved five children and a Pendleton County Ambulance. Investigators say Johnnie McCoy, 37, of Falmouth, was driving northbound on U.S.-27 and lost control on snowy and icy roads, crashing her Chevrolet into the EMS crew. Medic Cherie Sullivan, 41, of Falmouth, was unable to avoid the car. They were hit on the driver's side of the ambulance around 1:30 Saturday afternoon. "2903 to County, somebody has just hit us," the medic unit radioed to dispatchers. "I can't get out of my vehicle. I'm going to have to climb out the other side."
