A home on a horse farm off of Rush Branch Road in eastern Pulaski County was a total loss after a Monday afternoon fire.
Responders were called out at 11:56 a.m. to Nelson Farms, to a report of a structure fire at 3070 Rush Branch Road. According to Jeremy Strunk, chief of the Haynes Knob Volunteer Fire Department, the house was fully engulfed when fire trucks arrived.
Firefighters stayed on the scene about two-and-a-half hours battling the blaze, but the structure was reduced to ruins by the time the fire was out.
“It was a complete loss,” said Strunk.
The home was owned by an Alexis Adams, whose grandfather had owned most of the property there at the farm complex, said Strunk.
