Wednesday morning at about 4:20, the Leitchfield Fire Department was dispatched to 1933 Sunbeam Road on the report of a structure fire.
When firefighters arrived – in five-degree temperatures and light snow – they found a nearly fully engulfed double-wide mobile home (actually, two single-wide mobile homes fashioned into one),with nearly half of the roof caved in.
Firefighters battled the blaze from both the front and rear of the structure, but the home was a total loss.
