The Danville Police Chief Tony Gray confirmed there will be no entrance to Millennium Park from Cunningham Drive, the main entrance to the park. Gray says if anyone needs to access the park to enter from the fairgrounds side off of U.S. 127, or through the neighborhoods of Lannock Drive and Argyll Woods Drive. Crews are still on scene at Sunrise Children’s Services battling the structure fire. According to the center’s Twitter page, all 27 boys who were in the building have been relocated to a local church. They are contacting family members to let them know the boys are safe.
