Neighbors alerted someone inside a duplex that it had caught fire, this quick response kept the home from being completely damaged. Firefighters arrived on scene at Lansdowne Drive shortly after 2 a.m. Friday. The fire chief says a trash can by the duplex caught fire, and it spread to the attic. Because crews got on scene so quickly, it didn't spread farther and the unit only had minor damage. No one was hurt. Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the flames.
