A family is without a home after a fire on Todds Road in Lexington. Firefighters say they were dealing with that lack of water supply because the nearest water source was at least a mile away, forcing them to drive back and forth to the house. “That creates a problem and we also have a problem with access. This is a very narrow and rural road back to the location, so we are really only able to get one truck at a time back to the structure,” said Battalion Chief Jason Wells.
