An early morning fire in a warehouse at Kingsford Manufacturing in southern Pulaski County was contained within hours.
Pulaski County Public Safety Director Stacy Halcomb said at about 9:15 a.m. that the fire was contained to one row of about 500 pallets in the warehouse. No injuries were reported, according to Halcomb.
Kingsford officials said full operation was to resume shortly.
Halcomb said the fire broke out around 4 a.m., with the Tateville Volunteer Fire Department being the first responding agency. A county-wide page was issued with representatives from all 18 county fire departments, the rescue squad, special response team and EMS all responding to the scene.
