Firefighters work a massive recycling plant fire for the third day Monday.
The fire started Saturday at Stuff Recycling in Clark County, Kentucky, near Lexington.
At the height of the fire, more than 100 firefighters from more than a dozen agencies fought the flames, with about 35,000 gallons of water.
Fire officials are still trying to figure out what started the fire, but they say the flames started in an area where there were quite a few car parts.
"It got so black. I mean ... you're right . It might have been stuff. Cause I just hear explosions going on," said Lisa Ann Payne, who lives nearby.
The business says it plans to reopen Thursday morning.
