A tractor-trailer jackknifed on the Western Kentucky Parkway on Monday afternoon, June 11, blocking off one full side of the parkway and half of the other side for several hours.
At around 12:45 p.m. on Monday, the Grayson County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) and Clarkson Police and Fire Departments responded to the 112 mile marker of the Western Kentucky Parkway (the parkway) on a reported semi that had jackknifed and was blocking the roadway.
According to investigating GCSO Lieutenant Sonny Poteet, a CMS Trucking tractor-trailer, driven by Nathan Lear, of Cecilia, and a white Ford F150, driven by Gary Hall, of Glasgow, were both travelling eastbound on the parkway when the semi struck the Ford and lost control.
