Just before 5:30 Sunday evening, the fire department got a call about smoke coming from the Westchester apartments on Leestown Road. When crews arrived, they found a working fire in the kitchen of a basement apartment. Firefighters tell ABC 36 there is heavy smoke damage in two of the apartments. Everyone in the middle apartment black was evacuated, no one was hurt. Firefighters are still investigating what caused the flames.
