Larry Robinson, a school resource officer at Central Hardin High School, didn’t want to scare students Wednesday with a staged car crash.
Instead, he hoped they would think twice before driving while impaired.
“Think about what can happen if you do,” he told Central Hardin seniors. “Be smart and call somebody. Don’t drink and drive. I’d rather give you a ride home instead of what you are going to see in a few minutes.”
Four students and two adults were involved in the staged two-car collision. The storyline for most mock crashes involves students going to or leaving prom. However, Wednesday’s demonstration was about students celebrating graduation.
