A house caught on fire on Lovelaceville Road in Lone Oak, closing a section between Jessamine Drive and North Gum Springs Road on Sunday, May 5.
Neighbors saw the flames and called 911, and the Lone Oak Fire Department responded.
According to the fire department, no one was home, and there were no injuries.
The fire department contained the fire to the laundry room and kitchen areas. The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was also on scene and temporarily closed a section of the roadway. The sheriff's office confirmed the second incident on Lovelaceville Road was a car crash.
At this time, there are no reports of injuries. The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is releasing more details at a later point.
