Concord firefighters didn’t have to go far to knock down flames that broke out in the bed of a dump truck. The department shared photos from a fire that took place on the ramp outside Station 2 on Thursday. Concord firefighters didn’t even have to move their truck to get the fire under control. Instead, firefighters simply ran hoses toward the bed of the dump truck. “It’s not every day that you can put a fire out without moving the engine out of the bay!” firefighters tweeted.
