Family members and friends gathered at Taunton City Hall Tuesday night to watch four newly promoted Taunton Fire Department officers take their oaths and be sworn in by City Clerk Rose Marie Blackwell. Jason Boiros and Michael Dunham were both promoted to captain. Brian Silveira and Kevin Lavigne were promoted to the rank of lieutenant. “Each of these gentlemen are deserving of their new ranks and I know they will continue to serve our department, the city and its residents well,” Fire Chief Timothy Bradshaw said. “This is something they have all been working hard toward in their careers as firefighters and it was great to see them celebrate with their families Tuesday night.”
