A fire in a Lowell condo killed a 31-year-old man early Tuesday morning. Lowell Fire Department said when they arrived at the Angle Street scene around 1:45 a.m., four people had already escaped the building. A woman was treated for smoke inhalation and an airway problem. According to officials, the deceased was found in the first-floor garage, where they believe the fire started. Flames from the fire in the garage appeared to spread to the outside of an adjoining unit. Approximately 20 condo units are interconnected in the building.
