In Hudson, frustrated firefighters are sounding the alarm on their former chief, John Blood. Records obtained by 5 Investigates are shedding some light on the situation, including a police report referencing missing money from a firefighters' relief fund and a separate credit card investigation over credit card purchases made by the chief and charged to the town. We requested these receipts and found dozens of unusual items that have firefighters puzzled. "Camping gear?" 5 Investigates' Mike Beaudet asked Doug Schaeffer, president of the Hudson firefighters union. "I haven't seen any camping gear," Schaeffer replied. "I don't know the last time you saw a fire engine with guys camping." We brought the receipts to Schaeffer, who said there were dozens of items purchased which he and others haven't seen in either of the town's two fire stations.
