Gloucester firefighters are battling a blaze in a home in the area of Wingaersheek Beach, but emergency radio reports from the scene indicate that all occupants are safely out of the house and that there were no pets inside. Firefighters responded around 9:15 a.m. to a call to 10 Gull Lane and immediately found "a working fire" with smoke emanating from the eaves of the two-story colonial house and fire coming from the roof. There were no early reports of any injuries. The Rockport Fire Department responded to cover Gloucester's Central Station while city firefighters raced to the fire scene located off Valley Road above Wingaersheek and Camp Spindrift.
