John J. Maguire, Age 64, of Northbridge, MA, formerly of Dorchester, passed away at home, on March 23, 2024. John was a proud member of the Boston Fire Department and was planning to retire in July. He was currently stationed at Engine 55 in West Roxbury and in the past, served on Engine 33, Engine 22 and Engine 30. He loved his job, but his greatest accomplishment was raising his son, Michael; with his former wife, Mary. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the Visiting Hours on Tuesday, April 2, 3 to 7 PM, in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:00 AM, on Wednesday, April 3, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha's Church, Milton, at 10:30 AM.
