The annual firefighter's parade in Sharspburg continues for another year.
Fire trucks filled the streets of Sharspburg on Saturday for the annual fireman's parade.
More than 20 fire departments from across Washington County and Northern Pennsylvania participated in the 117th annual convention. Katie Kimble rode in the parade. Her dad is a volunteer firefighter for Williamsport, making her the fourth generation.
"I want to be a volunteer firefighter like him and I want to carry on the family business," said Kimble.
Fairplay Community Volunteer Fire Company hosted the event. Each department brought their trucks, and some had firefighters marching along the way.
"Just recognizing pride and the equipment and the companies," said Greg Yost, President of the Cumberland Valley Volunteer Fire Association.
