Two residents sustained non-life threatening injuries after their house caught on fire in the early morning hours Saturday. Amanda Haldeman and her boyfriend, James Chambers, were asleep when they awoke to find their home at 100 Woody Brown Road was on fire. Haldeman’s brother, Curtis Johnson, and Johnson’s girlfriend, Ashley Breniser, came to the residence later that morning. Johnson said his sister and her boyfriend were able to make it out of the house with minor injuries, along with their dogs. “My sister’s boyfriend has burns all up and down his arm,” Johnson said. “My sister’s pillow caught on fire, so her hair is all burned.”
